For the second year in a row, Knoxville has been named the best city for pet lovers by ApartmentGuide.com.
Compared to any other county, Americans have the highest rate of pet ownership. So, ApartmentGuide.com set out to find what cities in the US were best for pet owners. Thet looked at 15,000 cities in the US to determine which cities were best for pet lovers. In order to determine what cities were best, they looked at what cities had the highest rate of pet-related businesses.
Here are the top 10 cities for pet lovers:
Knoxville is an extremely dog-friendly city. Knoxville has many different dog parks. In addition, dogs are allowed in all parks and on greenways so long as they are on a leash.
Knoxville also has many dog-friendly restaurants where dogs are allowed on their patios. Dogs are allowed at Aubrey’s at Papermill, Balter Beer Works, Casual Pint, The Chop House, Soccer Taco, and Stir Fry Cafe, just to name a few.
Knoxville also has 30 boarding facilities and 93 vet practices, making it a great city to be a pet owner.
Knoxville may not be one of the biggest cities in the country, but it has appeared on many national lists.
