Tennessee Is The 2nd Friendliest State

When you’re traveling, the locals can make or break an experience. If your phone goes dead or you end up needing help figuring out the subway map, the locals will be who you rely upon for help. Depending on where you are, you’ll either be blown away by a stranger’s kindness or shocked at how unhelpful they are.

Big 7 Travel recently took a look at what states were the friendliest. Based on input from travelers, they ranked which states were the friendliest and unfriendliest. According to the list, Tennessee is 2nd Friendliest State in the US.

What Makes Tennessee Shine?

Tennesseans come with plenty of southern charm. They know how to be kind to visitors. 

Tennesseans even go a step further, they want to show off the wonderful things about their city. The article notes that Tennesseans have an eagerness to show off their city to visitors. With cities like Memphis, Nashville, Knoxville, and Chattanooga there are no shortage of lively cities to visit. 

Tennessee was one of two states from the Southeast on the list. The other state was Texas ranking in at #4. The #1 state overall was Minnesota.
